Barbara Brackman is a quilt historian and author. She is a recognized authority on quilts of the Underground Railroad, and has written numerous books on quilting during the Civil War. Barbara also designs reproduction fabrics and has served as a consultant on many major state quilt research projects. She was inducted into the Quilters Hall of Fame in 2001.
