Wenche Wolff Hatling is a Norwegian quilt designer from Steinkjer, a small town in the middle of Norway. She worked as an architect for many years before devoting herself to quilt design. Wenche (pronounced "Venk-a") is also the proprietor of Northern Quilts, one of Norway's best known quilt shops. She is inspired by Nordic nature and traditions, but also likes to combine fun and cute elements with more graphic shapes.
